Take a moment today people, spare a thought for all those that fought for our freedom.

Long shall we remember them.

And a shout out to all those currently in the armed forces. Thanks to you all for standing up and being prepaired to defend this great country. Cheers.

Another mate of mine recently said: "Freedom takes on a new meaning once you've had to fight for it"

Thankyou to those who have, and still do, fight for our freedom.

It's strange but already (5years here) I feel a greater sense of pride being an Aussie than I ever did as an englishman....
Rememberance Day in the UK seemed to pass unnoticed by the younger generations.

My Grandpop was a Gallipoli 'original'. He was one of the few that survived. The only thing he ever said to me about the war was "bloody horrible thing, no good at all". He was such a lovely old man. He passed in the early 90's and I still think of him regularly, particularly every April 25. RIP Pop.

I am in the hurt locker today, I didn't know I could get that much alcohol in my body and lost about $100 on 2 up, luckily I was running it and know that the money is going to Legacy.

R.I.P Lance Corporal Mason Edwards. Killed in a live fire training exersize at Cultana army base.

A mentor and somewhat of an idol to many of the younger kids during my cadet days.
Its no surprise to any of us that he was an exceptional soldier during his career.
I can only offer my condolences to those close to him on their loss.
Was a top bloke
