that kind of sets the frame of mind for anyone who thinks "im on a bike - the only person I can hurt is myself" .. imagine if that car was full.

I don't think the rider had a chance - most pics iv seen like that the rider was either almost cut in half, or suffered massive internal injuries (whats left of the internals anyway) , pretty much chest first into the side of the car roof.
and thats only an alfoil car - imagine hitting an old kingswood or something!

How come when you see these pics there is never blood and guts all over the place, they (car and bike) would have been mashed up.

The driver of this car was talking on her mobile when this happened. She, her passenger, and the rider were killed.

Scenes like this are cleaned up but left intact to be used as examples to others.

A mate of mine ran up the arse of a stationary Magna at 130kmph plus and all he got was a bit of gravel in the knee and a chipped heel. I've T-boned a car and wrote it off and walked away. Go figure..

I wasnt so lucky when I was T-boned by a car. Shattered right leg was all I got, but it was bad enough to stop me walking for 6 months then another 6 rehab. Had metal in my leg for 2.5 years also.

This is why I REFUSE to let anyone I care about drive a small car (and also texting while driving!) - If that was an old HX kingy or something the truck driver woulda been the one smushed to pieces

Yep...I reckon I owe my life to my mates Kingswood...we hit a cow at about 100 and bounced the fucker over the roof.
In the middle of nowhere no help for miles...kicked out the windscreen, beat out the front end with a hammer(had tools and fishin gear in the boot)..straightened the radiator by hand and put it all back together with fencing wire.
Pulled over at every culvert to fill the radiator all the way home.

His old man said we were full of shit..said we were drunk n stupid n driving like idiots n had been fightin or somethin....then he pulled a chunk of hair from behind the nose cone.

Just another one of lifes little blowouts...but I'm still here.

I would've thought so too, years ago I T boned the left side of a Camry in my HR at about 50ks, the mighty Hell Raiser was still driveable & only lightly damaged but all the glass in the Camry smashed, the bonnet & boot popped, the whole car was bent like a banana (the R/H doors had a 6" gap at the B pillar) & the passengers armrest was touching the centre console - but check this vid out, a real eye opener, I would've lost money betting on this.

Not too many 2009 Malibus herabouts Darren and the offset headon test is a bit fancy.

I always aim at the front passenger seat.
