That's usually EBay-speak for "look, I want to pretend I know nothing about it so I don't have to answer difficult questions".

Yeah but this is an original old style one not the new rubbish.
And yeah, the 'friend' bit always makes me wary of ads.

Ok mate, no probs...In the past it has been a way of dodgy folk protecting themselves from bad feedback by selling it for 'someone else'. Not saying you are dodgy either.

Strange. Redbook lists Vmaxs to 2004 and then picks up again at 2008. What happened in between?

They were definitely made up til and including 2007, then stopped production and started making the 2009 model..

From what I know though, they didn't change from 2003-2007'ish though.. just continued making the 2003-spec model.
