G'day guys,

Long time lurker,now i thought it was time to intro myself.

I've loved the streetfighter scene for ages,and looking through this site has inspired me to have a crack.

Im the sucker that bought the Transformers Blade
(I know alot of you hate it,from the comments when i saw it in your for sale section!!![It's baaaaaaaaack]!!!)

And i'd have to agree,those badges on the tank,and the paint of the seat unit,the exhaust,etc etc,really made it look aweful!!!

But hell,for the price,its a good start,and with my near non exsistant welding and mechanical skills,i'll still have a go,and do my best!!
And if i find myself in the shit,i'm sure i'll get a hand from the fellas here,with all the info i need,either through asking,or just searching for it!!
Theres seems to be quiet afew knowledgable blokes amongst this forum!!!


Anyway,surely i cant make it any worse!!!

Welcome Nick.. i didnt think that blade was that bad.. I mean i'd get rid of all the transformer stuff, but damn its a blade.. so any progress with it mate???

Not much progress,been busy with work,moving house etc etc,so only started taking some of the gay stuff off.

The tank looks ok without the Transformers badges on it,it would be a shame to rattle can black over the top of it!!
Someones put abit of effort into it.

The whole bike needs a once over,and cleaning up some of the parts.
Someone has just rattle canned it black,with the bike complete,as in,just walked around the bike holding a can,and spraying it in that direction,coz there is black everywhere,half the shock,rear brake res,rear sets,everything!!

Bar Risers also need to be sorted.They're too low,and the top of the forks are barely in the top clamp!!!Yikes!!

I've only got one shit pic of it,and i wouldn't know how to put it on anyway!!
I'll have to try and figure it out.

There is a bloke on here,(can't think of the name at the moment)and he seems to have a pic of just about every street fighter ever created!!!He might have a couple of it???

It is alittle rough,but not bad for a bike with 12mths rego,thats already had a reasonable start on it!!

I wouldn't care what anyone thought.............it was a bargin as long as its not twisted. You can do heaps with it for that sort of money and end up with a great fighter. I had one as a road bike and the things have plenty of go and handle really great.

I personally think your onto a winner, great buying
