First question - dunno, presumably not since there are lots from Qld and WA etc.
Second question (statement actually) - 27kms to be precise. That's pretty bloody close in my book.

There's also an old GS750 in the shed that is kinda sorta half 'cafe' / half street fighter / half piece of shit. That's what attracted me here. I'm gonna strip it down soon and came here for some inspiration. I'm an old school kinda guy usually but just love bikes generally.

Newy has always been a bit quiet. Longest standing member from that area that comes to mind is Fimpbikes, so why don't you lot get together and have an inaugral ride / BBQ night one weekend? Every other area is doing it, why not Newy? Who lives most central to you all?

I did Karuah to the Terrace in my old suzuki swift in 9 minutes before the by pass. Thats pretty close i reckon. If you ever go thru Karuah call into the mobil and my my old girl (Joy ) to make you a burger. And when I was last under that bridge there was no tar just dirt.
I wish I was back there with my bike but I am in Townsville in the Army. Met Gixxerpilot the other day. Helpful bloke.

for years it has been quite solitary in newy on a fighter
but now, things seem to be on the up and up
