    Acewell wiring issues....

after a fucking around all weekend working on wiring up the new Acewell 3969 unit, I've found that the Neutral Indicator is not working on the unit!! I followed all the correct wiring from the original wiring corresponding to the Acewell diagrams. Everything else works except for the Neutral light on the unit - Oh and the temp sensor as the one supplied dont fit!!

Did anyone else have this problem with the neutral ind?

    help!

Try reversing the + & - wires for the Neutral light, Ive come across this before where they are backwards internally for some reason.
The Temp sensor is a universal type that is a M10 x 1 thread.
You may need to find an adaptor to suit or go to super cheap & get an inline sensor adaptor, which is a straight 25mm aluminium hose adaptor with a M10 x 1 port in it for the sensor.

Hmmm, I mite try switching the wires and see what happens.

As for the sensor, can I use my OEM (+ line on the sensor) and connect to the + from the unit? will this work?

    =)

The calibration of the standard sensor may not be right for the dash.
Oh & there should only be one wire coming from the oem sensor, otherwise you're looking at the fan switch instead of the temp sensor. I just thought I'd mention this as some people confuse the two.
