You can drill out your stock ones and mount the bars that way.
My 12r had clipon mounts cast directly into the standard tripples - I just had those bit machined off, a couple plates welded underneath to beef up the material and holes drilled by an engineering mob in brissy for about $180 - if you've got enough meat you can just diy the holes yourself.

Easiest way to do it I reckon is to go to Ausfr and buy the top clamp. saves time money and hassle of chasing round getting it drilled etc.

Cause $180 to get it drilled $60 for risers etc or the whole thing including risers for $360.

How much is your time worth?

Oh yeah and I agree about the shorty too. Knock it off right behind the mounting strap I reckon...

Mate I have ordered these ones from Stu at AusFR for my build (compiling the goodies then getting straight into it once that's done)

    http://ausfr.com.au/cart/shopexd.asp?id=133

I saw one finished on a bike in a thread the other night can't remember which one it was but it had the GSXR logo on it as well and the pics on Stu's site don't do it justice compared to the pic of it on this bike.

Good price and easy to do.

Love the understanding Mrs mate. If she really does, she's a keeper...
