Hope every one had a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

Not much going on, still waiting to get my forks back from suspension shop & waiting for cush drive to arrive from America.

Just thought I would post up a couple of pics of some parts that I got for any one that wants a look & I also started my rear end chop, it will probably be to short to use the CBR1000rr tail light once I finish chopping, but that's ok, cause I'v got some thin led tail lights that will fit & keep it all short.

Still alive and still going with the VTR ...

Bike hadn't been touched in over four years !

Pulled the tank and carbs off, gave them a clean,

going for a new colour, Black pearl,

Dent and scratch repair,





coat of Black and a quick sand before spraying the Pearl Black,



Not perfect, but will do for now, probably give it a sand with 2000, 3000, then polish later,

Out with the old, in with the new,

VTR wheel,



CBR wheel, Carbon front guard,

Venhill Stainless lines, Driven Carbon bar, Driven risers Driven grips, new Honda Brake and clutch masters, new adjustable shorty levers,

Moved the radiators back for clearance of the new forks and connecting rad hose,

[aaa123]

Getting back together,

Ignition bolted on and HISS zip tied into place,

Tank and mirrors on,

but decided to ditch the bar end mirrors and go for a different set up later on,

[aaa123]

Not exactly the set up I wanted to go with, but I dont have a small after market gauge,

so I decided for my sanity, I would use the original VTR gauge and mount it all up on the VTR headlight bracket for ease,

at this point I also went with using the VTR mirrors for same reason,

Headlight, Carbon screen and VTR mirrors mounted,

Seat and Carbon tail on,

Basically finished for now,

Got a new battery and thought I would replace the Lithium one with a sealed battery, so going to need to alter the under tray to fit the bigger battery,

Also going back to the VTR mufflers, the Yoshimura exhaust are back firing and it's annoying me, so ...

I know the VTR mufflers will still be back firing, but it will be quieter for now, I'm going to need to book it in for a tune up,

Great too be back on the bike,

really enjoying it ,

It is not exactly as I envisioned the build, but I'm fairly happy with how it turned out,

I still have plans to get the swing arm mod done, but for now, just happy too be riding !

Nice days ride up Arthurs Seat and around Red Hill ...
