    welded, tidied up with files, engine's set to check up for clearances for gassets and bracings















    decided to change an original gasset for a custom one

    It ate a crank bearing and the cams/rockers about a month ago... so it's in bits again.
    The frame was my first welding project - done with a gasless mig no-less. Will strip it and re-do it one day.

    what it says, gunna be hell for me tomorrow cutting out all these gussets



    checking up clearance for header, tight fit! gunna buy a new 4 into 1 zorst then i'll decide wheather and where to brace it





    meanwhile my other project Kawasooka is on the wait list... and on the jig

    decided to save a [big] coin and to fab a header myself therefore cut the stock one to see if i could use its runners. nope i couldn't, they r double walled rotten off rattles



    but i have this



    an od 34mm x 1.5mm stainless seamless tube!

    keep bracing the frame and cutting off odd mounts, cut off 6 more - 4 battery box mounts, the ground wire mount and the brake lever half mount hehe

    I love what you are doing but it reminds me of an axe we have had in our family for generations. It has had four new handles and two new heads.

    rear mounts designed, fabbed and tacked





    front mounts r designed, cut out, drilled, shaped and adjusted, will be bored off tomorrow and tack welded
