Just as long as anyone riding has paid for a rider and the number of bikes per rider is 1 or less then no more to pay

Tell me about it. Don't even know if mine runs yet. Just finished the new axle adjusters and pit a rear wheel in. Still got to kick it in the guts , put some front discs on .
Make some longer dog bones and hope like hell I have fixed the clutch shudder

Just got home (have to work tomorrow) and buzzing still.
Judge doesn't like traveling south of the border, Darrens Honda that he dragged from a hard rubbish pile goes ok, Kev absolutely punishes rear tyres, and according to a busa rider my old ZX9 "goes pretty fucken hard".
Best I got was 11.112 @ 131mph and try as hard as I could I couldn't break into 10's like I so badly wanted too. Traction was a hit and miss affair for the first 200ft. This shit is addictive as fuck just trying to get everything to come together and get just another .1 second.
Hope the evening works out as well as the day did and look forward to doing it again next year.

Like the others have said a great day. Popped my cherry at drag racing,hmm it's fun isn't it. It was great to meet up with mates I knew and people that I hadn't met before. A big thanks to Deano for organising this and all the er questions that he had to deal with in the lead up. A huge thanks to Yella for finding my wallet that I left lying around (it's good to see there's still honest folk about) it came as a bit of a shock when I tried to pay for my spag bol on the way home. Not as much of a shock as seeing the three nuns in the car park swigging on pots of VB!

There it is! The picture that would sum up that whole weekend to me. The oldest rivalry there and captured perfectly. I can picture the gritted teeth and wide eyes in the helmets. Brilliant!
