Linisher is so usefull, I must try and get one!!
I got an Abbott n Ashby one last year for $380 ish including the Linisher. Single handedly the most used tool in the shed. The wire wheel is ace for cleaning bolts, but i recommend using pliers to hold them. Sucks balls big time when ya finger runs into the wirewheel.
Imma do my best to jam some aluminum cans in there......
Hahahahahaha I know how much it shits me having to dress the stones on the grinder at work because some bright cunt has decided to 'clean' an oxy or mig tip on it......
Hence why I have my own workshop......
I don't share well....
So there I was partaking in my
Bi-yearly grass mowering. When in a shower of glowing hot metal my cutter deck belt tensioning pulley decided that 30years hard time was more than enough. It was found dead on the seen. It's roller bearings lifeless stained blue, like still warm carcasses ready to rot in the hot sun. Testament to the shear vicious ruthlessness of the dark overlord "friction"......... Maters only darkened when spares, money and time were found somewhat wanting when asked to once more go into the breach and this my dear friends brings us to the point of this story...... Necessity is indeed the mother of all invention.......
Fucking 'ell! I just replaced the bearing on mine, where as you make yours a race version.
Trust me si if I could that's exactly what I would have done,
Thing was just to far gone, the pulley itself collapsed whileknocking
the barrings out forcing my hand. The mower is a 30 + year old diesel kobota
held together with a unwillingness to die. I never care for it, never spend money or time
on it, so this was a welcome change
I get stressed if I don't mow mine once a week.
Twice a week keeps it tidy.
free time in the shop for some more work on my plans for the work space, it is
never a bad idea to revisit areas you thought were done. As your work evolves
so should your workspace....
The bench that sat next to the pillar drill got used mostly to store all the shit I didn't know
what to do with, so got abrasive on its arse and cleaned up the act.
When does the bed move in?
well getting close to my big japan trip so projects have been mostly put on hold
but still doing some bibs and bobs in the work shop upgrade
the fab area steel rack is getting a rebuild, white board and ben 10 curtains are gone as is the old shelves
the clean area for the bead blaster and the final home for the hydroblaster is moving ahead as well
left over 16mm ply from a job $0, hat section $7 by 6 mtrs, 25x20 aluminium angle fuck all,
all up both this and the same style wall in the fab area is costing me about $50 sweeeeettttt....
