    01 gixer thou clutch.

The clutch has no slip but if you take off with the revs a bit high just riding the clutch it just bites. Smooth to take off if revs are low, but a little high and it's on or off. WTF. I did put new clutch plates in but didn't soak them? Old plates were the same.

Lean bike over at a good angle towards clutch side and pump clutch for a while to get a little oil into the clutch basket. Leave it sit overnight try it again tomorrow. Before pulling it down.

Easy way won't work... You are meant to soak them for 24 hours before putting them in .. you may have glazed them as it is ..

Don't OVER de-glaze them if you have! I made that mistake.
