$620 delivered
managed to confirm chassis numbers with the wrecker in regars to the loom yesterday and that is now posted
hopefully be able to pick em both up monday

there is a guy up here who rebuilds RGV's, its just a little
hobby of his, he recently turned out a replica movistar GP bike out
of a early 90's model, fuck it looks good!! i'll try and find you some photos of his handy work!
REALLY wanted an new shaped r6 tail, but i think that the older one will suit the bike more in the end anyways

Hey fimpbikes. Did you check e8@y for your parts first. I got the back half of an 04-06 r1 for less than that swingarm and shock 45 american.Even with postage you are still laughing. They have weird salvage rights and for some reason can keep the wreck and part it out. I will never use wreckers again.

big day yesterday (other than the bday business)
the R6 Tail turned up, its got a slight crack and a bit of a scuff
but its all small enough to ingore til after rego
as a bonus, the dude on the phone at Metro Spares said that it had "aftermarket indicators"
what he didnt realise is that it ACTUALLY has a complete Libertek Fender Eliminator, worth US$150 bucks!
BUT, that means that it ISNT going to be legal
so i have to now make up a mudflap thingy to get through the rego nazi's, not that im complaining about that cos the eliminator is pretty snazzy
the thing i DID ring up this morning about to have a "bit of a chat" to them about is the lack of pillion seat lock
figured they might try to stiff me on this, cos matching lock kits are worth more together
but they assure me that they are going to dig one up and send it through asap so we shall see how that goes
havent checked out the loom yet, going to hacksaw the rear half of the RG chassis off tonight and see how the tails going to fit-up
ps- got a compressor for my bday off the folks, so i might FINALLY have a bike with a decent paint-job eventually

ok, after a HEAP of phone calls to Metro Wreckers
(one a week for the last month!) i have FINALLY got a package on its way containing a lock for under rear seat and two pillion pegs with brackets
im going to have to fork out and get a ket cut, but thats something im just going to wear
bloody wreckers though, i havent wanted to take the tail out of its box fully cos i was about a day away from sending it back!
so there you go, back on the wagon again
