NAAS Road.
I went for a bit of a drive this morning past Tharwa along NAAS Road, pretty tight and twisty but in pretty good nick. Lots of Roos and Wombats tho....The road will start to ice up pretty soon, it gets pretty high up in there, so when it warms up again I reckon we should make a day of it. Take the road out to Adaminaby, through to Cooma for a beer and a bite and back up the Monaro.

She would have been pretty fresh out there today Lucas.
I've been across that road on a GSXR1100, (just pretend you're on a dirtbike, grip is a relative thing).
Some lovely bits of road before you get to Adaminaby, back via Tumut is the preferred option.

I was in a car with a toasty heater but it was pretty fresh at Yankee Hat. Pity its not tar the whole way. Its beautiful country up in there.
If you're playing on dirt why not back via Brindabella and Picadilly

Yeah, I went to the Capital Rally in January at Brindabella.
Off the end of the tar, about 20k of fairly crap dirt to the campsite.
On the other side, next morning, about 10k of good (fast) dirt then 40ks of perfect all weather hotmix into Tumut.
They have even chopped down all the trees around it, so you can see for miles.
Back via Adaminaby, Berridale,Dalgety and Cooma.
Think I should get a DL650/1000?

I'm wishing I still had the Hilux. Some of the fire access tracks off Bribdabella Rd are tops. Flea Creek is a good play ground.
