Who'd of thought a simple block of cast metal would illicit such emotional responses from a bunch of hairy backed blokes. Tis truly a thing of beauty.

You'll need a big oil cooler as well, cos i know someone else from Perth who did that, and he suffers cooling problems

Ok so we all seen this shot b4,if ya been around Suzuki`s[?]If you are gonna try this at home,at this stage you require the cams from"old girl" & "R"[8)]This is wot i did.Take the sprockts from old girl & fit them to nice R camsThey run the same chain. Now some "cam timing"knowlege is an advantage here cause the markers do not line up[B)]This head i measured 2day with a "squish" of 23 thou[:0]now i have set the lump sticks to"follow"the piston`s(they dont clash in motion)New studs, over size head nuts, staino retainer`s,Three way valve seats,Flowed, knifed, top end valve springs, new guides,91/750 cams(still with machening grooves)
    Hope the f@cker stay`s 2getha

    Looking cool MM! [8D]
What chassis is that going into? Normally aspirated?
Might be worthwhile fitting a cooler too - even if it's 'only' a small cam cooler using oil feeds to rear of head...
Oh, and good luck with the 15:1 CR - gonna be fun starting that when it's stalled in hot traffic...
