Mate. You wanna see mine. As long as you avoid the dirt, excessive rain, and make sure noone follows too close you'll be sweet. I launch stones everywhere. I have no chain guard and no shock protection. It's not fully recommended but mines been like it for 7 years.....

Gix yeah I'm worried about damage to my Rear shock. PLus theres that 5km+ of dirt road which I think we might be doin goin into Coffs?? so I might put it back on or modify it so its shorter. Dunno.....

Nah mate. Streetfighter - Fuck it. Wrip it off. I've done many dirt roads over the last 7 years. A mate of mine has a 998 and he discovered a shock guard that uses the inner mounts of the rear hugger. Maybe that's your answer. Mine is, wrip her off........
