    '04 Gixxer wiring LED flashers

i've just wired up some LED's to an '04 wiring harness and they seem to flash a bit fast, as this harness is installed to a different bike I have no idea if the originals were LED or conventional.

If I have installed incorrectly and the '04 didn't have LED can somebody sketch me a diagram of how to wire and show what size diodes I need to fit.

    Thanks.

The originals would be STD globes maybe LEDs on the dash. If there is a 3 pin flasher can just change it for a led one

Put an electronic flasher relay in the bike. If you get one that plugs into the std relay slot, it's a simple swap over
If you're offended, you've only yourself to blame

    You need to fit resistors

Just pick up an LED flasher can

Or from ya local bike shop

Excellent thanks guys, what I suspected, oh well back to the soldering!

When I went digging I found the parts bag the tail light came with and voila! two resistors.

Probably stupid question but I have the fork tube LED's from Exben for the front indicators, if you require resistors for the rear (tail light) do I need to fit to the front as well?

resistors for left and right wont matter about front and rear to much as there on the same circuit, if its still a bit fast after doing each side you can add more.
