    1985 GSXR 750

    Hi All

Just wanted to share a prelimary photo's of my gsxr. I've finally worked out how to resize my images and upload them. Quite sad that it's taken me this long. In any case here it is, still unfinished with heaps more to do. The first pic is how the bike was up until a year ago. When I first bought the bike about 5 years ago I spent a bit of money having all the stock fairing re-built. Lately I've pulled all the fairing off, and decided to turn it into a fighter. Been working on it when I have the time for the last year or so.

After these photos I have picked up some motorcross handlebars 7/8. It was a cheaper option than the back surgery I would need if I held onto the clubman's. Only problem now is that my levers and controls don't all fit on the bike. I was thinking of putting on some later model levers and controls. If anyone has any bright ideas I would love to hear it. Apologies for ranting.

    Hey EvilKarl.

Sure, if your interested, I will take some close up photos of the fairing and send them to you. Front top piece was dropped and would need repairs, but was otherwise like new. The bellypan is also fibreglass and a bit scraped. Anyway, like I said I will fling you some photos.

    Hi Guys,

Really good question. Not sure to be honest. I picked it up along with another few parts off ebay, from a fellow called Mark in Newcastle. He had a Gixxer fighter that he was dismantling, as he found cracks in the frame. It's a very nice part. I was quite impressed with it. I'll take a close-up shot of it in the coming days ands post it. Might help with the identification.

I'm still struggling with how to tackle the levers/reservoirs etc. Anyone have any suggestions for different levers/reservoirs/switches? I'm after something cleaner looking than the original clunky parts.

    Cheers all
