We had to replace the orig studs being these
We had to replace the orig studs being these
These are the new ones fitted in the hub there about twice the length
and slightly thicker than the orig ones.
Then we had to make up some wheel spacers one was "one he prepared earlyer" off the tiller and we also needed a bit more i think all up it was 16mm
This is the one he prepared earlyer.
Both these were a perfect fit and had to be just about pressed on
to the hub.
Alright then hubs on spacers in place next is to line up the sprockets.
The sprockets were 8mm out of alginment.
Heres Ben machining the sprocket carrier down 3mm and then he made a sacer for the front sprocket it was perfect.Chain in time for a ride to enoy Bens neighbors again no can very loud.
Next was the can this little puppy here.
shit mate you don't stuff around, thats looknig awsome, which way are the sprockets out, do you need to space the engine sprocket out or the hub sprocket out?
Born again Juvenile delinquent
Ben miging in the link pipe
Ben tiging the link slipper joint and the tip to the can
Another shot of the master in action.
Cans in place just had to tig on a mounting bracket.
After about 7 hrs of the master and the apprentice working and bullshitting the blade rolls out of Disney land looking like this.
And for every body to have a laugh heres me looking like a tool for a photo.
Recon id be in with a chance of biggest tool this year if i was going.
*So the end result is single sided swing arm
*17x7" rear wheel
*new can that has a very deep growl rather than the sreaming crackel that it had.
The next job or project will be to sort the top exhaust and seat unit to somthing shorter and thinner to make it more sleek looking through the rear its a bit fat and long up there now.
I like to thank Exben for all his effort and wisdom going in to this mod with out him it would have been a long slow process and an apprentice(being me)being very lost through most of this project.
Cheers mate your a champ and your blood should be bottled for future generations to have the same attitude and knowlege that will deffinatly be lost in years to come maybe you could train up max so my boy has someone to go to when hes doing this shit to his bikes.
