Hey OzKat. Very interested in your ideas for the Web Cams for a GSX1400...... What is it that we can do?quote:Originally posted by ozkat
How about big bore, carillos, some web cams, valve job, 600cc injectors, flowed head, stroked crank, etc. GSX1400/2000cc most powerful N/A GSX1400 in Australia.
Thanks
Stock 1400 - at least grind or cut something off it....single seater mono shock would be a better bling investment
Thanks for the input but i like the old sckool look.quote:Originally posted by speeddemon

Whats the go with these see through oil covers? Doesn't the oil go black ? What do they look like after a bit of use?quote:Originally posted by suxukifreak
I think the only place to get those clutch cover is UK as the 1400 cover hasn't got a flat surface to work with. [V]
Ive seen these ignition covers on ebay but i think they might make the motor to wide.
looking very sharp
Come on guys, enough of the sharp jokes, that happens to be my last name.
Power Commander fitted today, and should have it dynoed this week hopefully.
be interesting to see what effect the commander has.
on the subject of bling I am bringing with me to Auss a windowed cams cover for my project bike they are also available for the 1400
Now THAT would be different! Any photos?
I will get some pics from the makers might be a day or two depends how quick they respond
Started with a rough 98hp and ended up with a healthy 120 hp (healthy for a 1400)
If 98hp was good enough for a 11.24 1/4 mile pass, a extra 22hp will be interesting.
You gained 22hp just from the PCIII?
wtf??? something wrong there.
my tiller has high comp pistons, re ground cams, cleaned up heads, power commander, yosh cans and air box mod and only got about 15-17 hp over stock
The dyno guy said it was leaning out in the top rev range, the blue line is the first run and the red is the final run.
They are made to order at the moment and fuggin expensive
Your up to the same power as a 96 Bandit 12 with a cheap can
Be good to see the difference at the drags ?
Be good to see it in the 10's [8D]
Any figures on ft-lb torque ?
Im still waiting to see the spec / performance on the RAPID mag 14
that Stu had at Dubbo.
Tony.J.
Some of the other guys on the 1400 site are getting between 105 & 115 hp so im happy.
Sorry Tony i forgot to get the torque chart [V] thats the one that looks more impressive normaly.
I would expect it to out run a Bandit with similar power at the strip.
It should have plenty of grunt and a bit more weight over the front.
Best i EVER ran on my B12 was an 11.01 after lots of practice,
Unfaired with Renthals i just couldn't launch it! [V]
