Z1000 - Custom exhaust and some other bits

Hi all, as much as i loved my 06 Z750, i had to upgrade to the new Z1000. picked her up last week, and so far i'm loving it. I know STREETFIGHTER Magazine gave it a pretty poor rap cos Kawasaki called it "Streetfighter Styled" and that the power and torque figures aren't impressive compared to mid 80's bigbore muscle bikes, but as a sport bike it's really impressed me. I know it's a new bike and not modified but thought i'd post pics anyway.
All i've changed so far is the mirrors, custom fender eliminator, and added an Evotech radiator guard. As you can see i made good use of the sticker that Si and the boys sent out with the hoodie( which i haven't stopped wearing).

Oh, and ignore the chicken strips on the tyres, my Z750 never had them and i haven't been out on any serious twisties to scrub them in properly yet. Enjoy
    cheers

What sort of exhaust would you put on that tho??
I reckon any of the normal slip-on ones might look out of place?????

Thanks guys, i didn't know if i liked the exhausts when i first saw the bike, but they look better in the flesh especially from behind. I've seen pics of them with aftermarket pipes, and they don't really suit the shape of the bike like the stock ones do. I think i'll keep them stock, maybe gut them a bit for more noise, and possibly paint them matte black.

found these, a guy in the US has them. they're FMF Apex Dual slip on's. don't know what they sound like yet, but they cost $1000US, so don't think they're an option for me, but i bet they sound awesome, and they look wicked!

The FMF Apex Dual slip on's look and sound awesome, but too much money for me after just buying a new bike, along with the mortgage. So i had to settle for the stock silencers. Then i came across a fellow in the US who didn't want to change the stock exhaust but decided to mod them for more noise.

This is a pic of his muffler after the mod(there's normally only the round pipe petruding from the muffler, now the rest of the metal in the openings have been cut and removed)

Here is his vid, after being asked what it sounded like. Needless to say as soon as i watched this, i went straight into the shed and did the same mod to mine, and i couldn't be happier with the sound!
