i want to build a stunt bike, don't think i could find a goldwing so i'll probabely use my vtr 250. anyone here stunted a 250? would love some info on how big to go on sprocket etc, let me know cheers

hey m8 dont worry about going big on the sprocket just yet ,, as it wont help u learn to mono it will actually make the bike a heap more twitchy and choppy on the throttle ,,, learn with the standard gear and once u can master it with that , then move up on the sprockets .... REMEMBER cover ur rear brake or ur guna end up sore snd sorry .. have fun

Never got into the Mingers on Vtr250's but only cause of my size.
I will rate them as one of the all time best ever stoppie machines on two wheels imo.
Very very easy to learn on and control whilst doing them.
+1 with shadow. i found my old vtr heaps easier to stoppie than my current bike but wheelies were bs and pointless imo, i'd recomend getting a 600 and like pesh said learn stock gearing etc just add a cage.
Haha I didn't think it was possible to wheelie those things =D Ah well at least they don't need a 12 bar lol
