Darrens
NSR 125! - (UK)
"I
am located in Blyth in the County of Northumberland
UK.
After seeing everyone building streetfighters
from any BIG bike, I decided as a learner
rider to be one of the first (if not the first)
to build my 125cc into one.
Original bike is a 1993 Honda NS125R. I paid
£300 for the original bike and have
spent another £750 on building it to
what it is now.
All modifications, painting, polishing, welding,
fabrication etc.. done by myself except for
powder coating of the wheels (by D&S Coatings
ltd).
Modifications----
Frame rear end chopped and raised, All now
unused brackets removed from frame,
Honda VFR400 nc30 single sided swinging arm,
Ducati single seat unit, Streetfighter fairing,
Renthal bars, 1200 bandit billet bar raisers,
Yamaha R6 Brembo rear brake master cylinder,
K&N air filter, Carbon racing reeds,
Oversize barrel & piston, Nikkon performance
race exhaust, DID chain and sprockets, Showa
rear shocker, All wiring harness renewed,
All nuts & bolts changed to stainless
steel, Under seat unit and battery box all
stainless steel sheet, All aluminium parts
(yolks rear sets etc.. polished.
Well thats about
it I think for the moment until I think of
something else to add or to change on the
bike.
Some people think I'm totally insane using
a 125cc instead of something bigger but I
like to be different and that's what it's
all about isn't it?
Cheers
Darren"
