Cheers thepi.
To polish the sprocket hub I used 120 grit wet and dry paper, then once the surface was flattened off I used 1500 wet and dry. I just kept rubbing away with that untill it was really smooth, then went over it with autosol. Came up quite well didnt it! Never know, I might get bored over the winter and drop out the arm and do that too blaa. |

I belive i got this right now...
I realy doesnt need to count on this with the ofset as long as i dont do a conversion to carwheel..../well i did count on it and thats when i understod... i think) Beacuase the wheel is already correct in the vfr frame whit sssa, so all i need to adjust is how much wider the cbr frame is?

| I used mine all summer with no spacer and never had any handling problems, that said mate TMP recomends an 8mm spacer to centre the wheel in the frame if you are using a VFR wheel. |

£10.00 is perfect to start with,
If it goes higher you could bid £20.00 if you have time.
Thank you so much dude! |

Hello buddy!
Today i have hacked and slashed out the last bearing out of the wheel hub.
So now the swingarm and the hub are bearing free.
Casualties: 2 screwdrivers 1 socket 2 grinding "wheels" for the drill 1 hole in the sssa wich need to be fixed 1 realationship (Our kitchen hasent been "to nice" she says)
Picture coming later, tho no action pictures. I'l have to start a own thread about this shit.
Shopping list to complete the sssa conversion:
1. All bearings for sssa and hub. 2. Sprocket set and chain 3. Powdercoating the wheel 4. Getting a sweet as spacer from Jon :) 5. New wheel studs 6. wheel nuts (beascause i didnt get any with the wheel) 7. Brake pads 8. Paint for the brake caliper.
Think that would be all :D
have a fightning night! |

Right then, lets see if I can remember how this pile of nuts and bolts went together

peice of piss, there was fuck all to taking it to bits, so putting it all back was a doddle.

The studs I used were 63mm long Ford studs (M12/1.5) The M12 is the size of the bolt and the 1.5 is the pitch of the thread. They have a 13.1mm spigot, thats the bit that bites into the hub. You'll need to drill out your hub to fit them, but if a numb nut like me can do it, then so can you.

I put the 20mm spacer on first as the back has hollow sections that sat nice over the disc rotor nuts. Then the 10mm spacer went on next.

Loads of room for the wheel, and plenty of thread fo my funkey wheel nuts, MAN!

Just need to get some rubber on my Inovit concept wheel and bung it on.

wont be long now!
