I'm a fiddler! I know, and I cant help it. So when I looked at the rear break master cylinder res I thought "Jonny Boy" Thats me, CBRRRT! So, I thought Jonny Boy, you can do better than that!
Now I know you should use a special clear tube to do this to your break system or the tube starts to sweat and go off colour, but it was so easy to do I thought what the fuck, when it does I'll just replace it.
I also got this little billet jobby from ebay to neaten up the front. I'm thinkin a bit of clear tube in there too would look better as well.
Oh, and I dumped the heat shields on the zorst cans and ground off the mounting brackets, painted them, and reattached the suxy little Yoshi HRC badges.
See! I told you I was a fiddler, didnt I.

You have been a busy little Beaver havn't you! Not so sure about the painted end caps on the zorst though mate , perhaps if all the body work was the same colour , ay? , ay? ,ay? |

I have plans to change the body colour in the near future Dave and they look far better in real life than in the photo mate. The en caps were painted with the same paint as the rear caliper, and with the cans being gloss black like the rear wheel, I thing it pulls it all together.
What you been up to with your Killa Blade Buddy? cant wait to get a look at it.
Anyway, me and my boy are on the Air Ambulance run today, and its the 10th anneversary so we are expecting about 3,000 bikes in my Home town of Harwich today.

I have been away for a while but I love the continued progress. Nice work on the rear brake line. When I looked at me piece I thought of the same thing. I also like the knuckle gages nice piece. Cont the thinkering. Great job. |

I just brought this from ebay. Might look good on and its gotta be an improvement on that fuckin hidious effort I made a few pages back.
I found one on ebay someone else had fitted lights into and touught "I can do that"
I dont think I'll be able to see very far up the road with it but who gives a fuck, just as long as it looks good eh!! |

Here is something worth posting. A couple of weeks ago I changed my front break lines for steel braided jobbies from Venhill. I bled off the old fluid and stripped off the old lines, then fitted the new ones. That was easy enough. I then filled the master cylinder res and tried to bleed the new hoses through. Three hours later and I'm getting a bit fucked off because what ever I try, nothing!
After a bit more baldy head scratchin I made a call to tomanyprojex and he advised me to take off the calipers from the forks and hang them above the res. As it turns out its easier to pump the air up and out rather than down. So within a few minutes the oil was bled through. Top marks to Mike.
I reattached the calipers and gave them another quick bleed and job, jobbed!
So anyway, I dont know if you are planning to do this job yourself, but with TMP's advice it should go a little easier.

Ha ha, he loves it Frank. We went out 10 o'clock Monday night and took a ride along the coast road. It was really warm and a superb night, the ships at sea were all lit up and so was the docks on the other side of the estury. It was one of those times when you could just ride all night, but I had work the next day and the little dude had school, so it all ended a bit to soon. He has asked for a leather jacket like mine with urban jeans and motocross boots. A hooligan in the making mate. When I told his mum she just rolled her eyes and gave a deep sigh. I think she gave up long ago mate, lol.

You're not wrong there mate, my Dad had a BSA Starfire, among other bikes. He used to take me out on the back and I'm sure that is when I got bitten by the bike bug. I've taken my Nick on some of the same runs my Dad took me on, and it felt really special matey. My Bro also has had a few bikes in his time, but he is more into renovating the old Jap clasics now. So I guess your right mate, it wont be long before Nick will be out and about tearing up the highway on his first 125cc with his chin on the tank and his feet on the rear foot pegs trying to get that 2 mph extra.
