My lamp arrived today so I fitted it this evening and I'm quite liking it. I'll take some photos in the next day or so and stick them on here.
I'm gonna give Porky and Bikerbitch the other one for their wedding gift in a few weeks time.
All worked out fine in the end.

I like it... being black it sorta ties in with the black rims and the black on the front mudguard.
And doesn't that colour look 'kin nice in the sun! I always thought it didnt do the bike justice.... now i just realise it is just your shitty weather over there lol cos that looks horn :) |

| To be honest mate there were colour opyions, and I went for the black for the reasons you stated. The colour of the bike is Merc Benz Ruby Red met. It does def look better in the flesh than it does in the photos mate, and they dont do it justice. |

Hueyonablade posted this in another thread on here, and while I'm focused on my headlight I noticed that the one on this bike has its light mounted tight to the forks.
I like that!, I like that a lot!.
I'm gonna have a little fiddle with my new unit today and see if I can get the same look with mine
Perhaps lower it a tad too.
Ya know what? I think that's one of the things I enjoy about owning a streetfighter, making a change, then revisiting it and tweeking it to make it even better.
Its the little things that make a difference and there's always something to do, always something to think about.

| I reckon to get it that close they have ground off the front subframe mounting lugs from the headstock. They foul on the back of the lights otherwise - I am going to do the same to get the busa light looking neat. |

I managed to get it to go back a bit but its still not as tight as the one on the orange Blade.
I think Mike is right about hacking off the top fairing sub-frame mount, and then I think it will give it the clearence to go back.
Weather here is superb at the moment and I went out for a hack thismorning.
My son Nick wants to go this afternoon so its back off with the pod and on with the rear foot pegs.

LOL, Cheers Rod, I'm just glad the guys on here dont hold back mate, could have looked a proper bastard.
I did have my doubts about the size when I was doing it but thought it might still look OK. No no no nooooooooooo! One new torn arse hole, courtesy of the piss taking bunch of cunts on here, and its been pushed right way way back under the bench.
I'm gonna let the dust settle on that one then try to punt it off on to some silly twat on ebay, lol.
I loved some of the lamps Hueyonablade did for me and the lighthouse from Hotmilk was funny as fuck too, lmaro.
I think you're right about the front fender Dave, but I didnt want to cut it just in case I fuced it up mate. I might make up a jig for my router and see if I can do something a bit more one off.
I do have plans to lower the lamp Lance and I had a little fuck about with it again last night and managed to get it even tighter the forks. The only thing stoping it from going right back is the ignition. But that said it looks far better now than it did.
