Yeah, that is an Olive. I used to keep a very large pair. I have a mate that breeds Albino Olives. Snow white gentle giants. I only keep one of them now.

Hey Kris,i was suprised at that strike from such a big snake im glad your mate breeds gentle giants..
Olives can be absolute arseholes when they are frightened,in a bad mood or smell food. But in most cases they are one of the most placid Pythons around. A adult female Olive I had about 8 years ago grabbed my hand (warning, don't fed Olives by hand- you bleed) instead of the rat I was holding and sliced the palm of my hand quite badly. I couldn't wank with my right had for weeks!
A mate of mine has a pair of Olives that ar approaching 14 foot long. Truely beautiful animals.
