    Bench Lathe and pit bike

Ok I'm picking up a mig welder and a lathe today In melb , no work and a small shed has made it a "Got to make room in the shed ASAP deal" So out with one of the lathes I have and move a bike.

The lathe is Italian made unit not the china special , nothing special and its done some work. Pritty much as I bought it I've prob done 40 hours work on this one , needs some love but if your after a cheap lathe to play on here it is.

    specs http://www.dmitaliasrl.com/co.uk/pro...the_bv20l1.php Looking for $800

The pit bike is a goer , a cheap pickup at a swap meet. I put a mountain bike ali leaver on clutch (replaced broken lever) to test ride it a gear lever off a 250 (to long but worked for test ride) Has been dropped a few times foot pegs and levers suffered the most. When I got it (at the right price) it didn't run due to carb needing cleaning (full of stale fuel turned to jelly) put air filter and fuel tap on it. Doesnt blow smoke, looks to have been riden a few times crashed by a newbie and left in the shed. $200

If your down Melb way and quick I'll be there this arvo so can deliver if your keen.

I would love to become a professional whistler. I'm pretty amazing at it now, but I wanna get, like, even better. Make my living out of it.

This is the old girl I picked up today off evil bay. And the main reason I'm selling the bench lathe (which I'm 95% sure has sold)

Im not an expert (on macheenery or hair), but with all of the exposed moving parts you might want to wear a hair net when using that thing!
If I had a dollar for every time I thought about you, I'd start thinking about you

When I was doing my apprenticeship I heard some screams, looked up and one of the other apprentices had his long hair wrapped round the drill he was using.
It was a big old geared head drill, and it was a big drill, probably about 1 1/2", and it just kept turning. By the time I got over to shut it down it had virtually scalped him. Took a chunk of scalp off about 100mm diameter, the image is indelibly etched in to my memory, as is the look on his face before he passed out.

It would only be a strip down the middle where the hawk resides, the misses wouldnt have to shave it anymore ! I'd just go with an inverse Hawk instead, every fucker has a Mohawk these days WFT is wrong with the youth of today anyhow ?
