    Tokico Caliper

I got a set of 4 pot caliper of a K5GSXR1000 from the wreckers and they had no pads in them. I just went to fit some pads and noticed the shims are not the same on both ends, one end of the shim is cut in sharper than the other end. Does it matter which end faces the leading edge, I ended up just putting them in with the lesser end facing the trailing edge if that makes sense ?

Correct fitment mate. The full end goes to the leading end (away from the fork) so as to preload the pad as it tries to twist when loaded against the disc.
