Hi all, this is my first time modifying any type of bike after riding stockies for many years, mainly a fun ZZR1100.
I have just bought an 83 GPz1100 to muck around with while i'm up in the sticks, only problem is after delving more and more into it the only good thing I have found on it is the frame. Soooo after much deliberating over a bottle of scotch I have decided to look for something newer to get me started and relegate the old girl to a complete rebuild with the new bike being the ginea pig. So time to start saving the dollars and start looking.

Cheers all, I am not biased on what I buy, I have owned a sweet GS1100e that I did a heap of k's on but sold them off when I moved to Leinster, been regretting it ever since. I have seen a nice 95 ZX1100 that comes with a spare bike thats here in WA and playwithnitro's gsx would be a great start, transport over to here would be the thing. As for coming to rides in Perth, as long as I manage to get a fairly comfy seat and maybe cruise control/throttle lock i'll definitely head down on my week off.
