Yep thats true. They were supposed to get taken over by a chinese company but they pull out. Unless they are thrown a lifeline they will be no more. The H1's will still be made for the military though, they are made by a seperate company.

I have been campaigning this very point to the masses since the very first H2 came out.

Gitzy, the tracks are a bolt on item. We priced some in 2005 and they would have cost us $28kUS.

    thats a pity

the chinese couldve used those in there underground mines as troop carriers
would have been comfier than the petrol land cruisers they drive down to the face with at the moment...

on a related note, i have seen the stupid stretched h2's on 30 something inch wheels in newy heaps of times.
but a few weeks back at the rifle range there was a well-used h1 painted good ol' khaki green AWESOME!!!!!

Isn't the H2 just a Hummer style body on a Chevrolet Suburban?

I'd prefer one of these anyway...

And just incase you have to pick your cupboards bed and huge TV up from the house when the missus does the dirty (then kicks you out)and the inlaws/new bf have landmined the driveway - the single cab version..
