Headlamp is a Bandit400 item, clocks are a Koso RX1N with oil temp display. The arm is 2 inch over JMC, the 5.5 inch 750K5 rear wheel needed a bearing swap to fit the 20mm spindle and 5mm shaving from the sprocket carrier paddles and the lip for the dust seal removing and a sealed bearing using, the caliper hanger had 6mm shaved from the outer face to get the wheel lined up true. The rear shock is a GSXR750K6 unit which dropped straight in. The seat unit and subframe are GSXR1000K2. The motor is a 1216cc lump which I built using Busa pistons, a shortened block to get the deck height, and a 750J DOT head, RS38 flatslides, a Cobra 4-1 with shortened Akrapovic can from a 750, Dyna2000 iginition and Dyna grey 2.2 ohm coils. Power output is currently 142bhp with 87lb/ft of torque. It currently runs 9.5 to 1 C/R, over the coming weeks the head will be removed and skimmed to raise the compression, which should see power up to over 150bhp and over 90lb/ft. A coil spring clutch conversion and lock up are to be added, as well as relocating the lower mounting tabs for the subframe slightly to allow the subframe to spread back to normal so the undertray can be fitted, then the paint and polishing will be redone ready for next year. Mart bought the bike in 2007 it was oringinally built by TES and featured in SF mag in December 2004, with an underseat system and Stock front end. I was a bit of a dog when he bought it, and since then I've done the running gear swaps and rebuilt the motor, which has totally transformed the bike in terms of rideability. It was photo shot for SF mag earlier this year, and should be appearing early next year at some point.
