got around to tac welding the subframe together ive been pretty slack these past couple of days ... just been making sure everything is spot on b4 going ahead ... all i havta do now is tig it up ... and then do the brackets for my frame ... which will we mounted on rose joints
even utilised the old pillion footpeg holes for the new subframe to go through
Are you ready to start producing this frame on mass production lol... There were a few other guys that wanted to make the same arse end lol..
Jarrod
i made the ass end on mine out of aircraft grade 4130 chromoly which came in pretty expensive at $18.00 a foot which i spose is pretty good considering but im sure a cheaper alternative could be found .. its all up the the owner i spose
looking good mate keep up the good work

I always knew those new R6's were small, shows how small they are when you sit the seat unit on a propper bike! Bike dwarfs it!
Lookin cool.
It all seems to be coming together nicely Mark. Keep up the good work.

Thanx guys... hopefully 2morow all the welding will be done.. and then i can bolt it up to the frame .. then sort out the seat .. should be fun in 39 degree heat lol
looking great pesh, its ashame you had to have any subframe sticking out of the tail at all. I still love the ufo attack yzf750. that thing looks amazing though(your bike). im waiting for the final pics.
That's an awesome look !
I understand the need for the subframe arms , but....
How cool would it look if you could get it on without them,
Check out the CF unit Thorsten makes, self supporting , no subframe.
Just pokin out there []
nice look that .. i was tryin for that but just wasnt sure about strength especially with me standin on it it would look awesome if i could get rid of the lower supports oh well time will tell what i decide
Look what u have made me do now showing me these pictures .. Lower supports are gone and have made the lowers come in just under the top mounts bout 20mm ... my m8 is guna weld a gusset in the whole way along and reckons it will be heaps strong enough . no more bottom rails stickin out ... yay
looking sweet!!!
love the look with the big gap
Rev the fucker!!!!!
haha, it will be fine im sure. should look great just floatin out in the air
i went choppo on one of the old Tri - ovals and sat it under there to see what it would look like it now measure's in at a small 25cm inlet to outlet in length... it will clear everything and im sure it has enough ground clearance .. and will be
MEGA LOUD lol but thats how we like it .. just gota make up a bracket to hold it ... or i might go to the wreckers and find a flatter pipe
