    fighter mcs new project

    Fighter mc asked me to post a few pics of his new project and will update as the build contiunues.He is building a 7/12 with a 1991 gsxr 750 m frame and bandit 1200 motor.I gave him a beautiful drag swingarm that came off my 1100 which i have sold for another project.........

    Thanks Griff,
    i have now painted the engine and
    am moving on to the frame
    first off i have to get lugs welded
    on and then its going for powder coating
    satin black along with the arm.
    i also have a gsxrthou front end
    for it and am just waiting for the yokes
    to be made up.the tank is also gone away
    to get the clock that i'm using mounted
    in to it.
    will update as soon as there is more work done to it.

    not sure yet but i'll be
    filling in the holes in the seat unit
    and i'd say i'll just have a short can on it.

    Fucking winter here too Frank. Puking snow in the mountains and pissing down cold rain here

    I reckon it's about 8 degrees and I cant find mny trackies, my remote or my pipe[]

    i'll get up pic as soon as i
    can.
    i now have the engine painted
    also got my yokes and rears sets made.
    i have changed the seat unit for a 09 r6.
    have to get lugs welded on to the frame to take
    the subframe which has to be made too.

    Looking forward to seeing what comes next Frank.
    Any information on how to paint an engine matey.
    What do you use, 2 pack? some kind of heat proof paint?
    Keep up the good work and post plenty of pic's mate.

    Jonathan i used PJ1 satin black spray paint in a can.
    you can get it on ebay.co.uk also make sure
    that you clean the engine well,took me over 2 days to get the shit of the one i'm using.

    hopefully i'll have it powdered coated
    and the motor in in the next couple of weeks
    and then i can get most of it done.
