    GSX 1100 ET Slowly slowly.

Moved it to here from members,
Pretty much where I started after I took off the shit full fairing

    My two kids.

first trial fit of the 4.5 inch rear.

flat bars, 1/4 turn throttle, billet bar end mirrors.

gsxr ignition and the must have jimmy can.

    Original l.h. switch block.

    New starter button.

RF600 front end, shit pics on the phone

Changing headlight mount and dash mount

Windowed clutch cover, maybe internal L.E.D.'s.

4.5" Gsxr rear end. Dunlop qualifier 160/60 is closer to a 170. Not as easy a fitment as I had been told.

Had to cut back the foot peg mount and diegrind the frame plate for clearence with the off set sprocket.

Offset sprocket machined and welded by a fitter and turner mate.

Had to cut 15mm out of the swingarm front brace for tyre clearence.

Brake stay runs super close too.

Runs close to shock, how anyone gets a 180 tyre in a standard arm is beyond me.

Had to die grind the inside of the front sprocket cover, chain just catches it.

Right side all buttoned up, had to change muffler link pipe. Am planning on making my own headers down the track anyway.

Left side just have to make up chain guard (it's half done). Lost about an inch of height. will have to go to 350mm shocks from 330's at some point to quicken the steering back up.

Finally the right width tyre under one of these. Had to make spacers for either side of the wheel.

Well bugger me, I thought you could get a 5.5" & 180 in a stock GSX swinger but by the look of these pics, you'd hafta have it all the way back in the adjusters & it would probly still touch the insides.
    Thanx Geoff, good write up.
Your mate did a good job on the sprocket too.

Oil chatch can, Cut down drink bottle.

Rearsets, from '88 GSXR750, new swingarm pivot bolt on the way will have to be shortened. Custom length shift rod. Side stand now fouls on gear lever, will move stand mount forwards approx 30mm. A lot of fucking around. but has made the bike easier to ride with the drag bars.

Shift light fitted properly extra bar clamps and back to twin h/lights.

Indicator mount hidden wiring ally tube and mount tubing, also mounts the oil cooler.

The next big change, have to wait until the Mrs gets her licence and her own bike. But should look the goods.

I like that indicator mounting, very cool. Youll have to get rid of the Vermeulen stickers on that tail though, unless you're putting a kwaka donk in!!!!!!!?!?!?

Tell your mrs to hurry up and get her licence, then she can borrow your wheels

Many thanks to Latheboy (Ivan) for the new duster end caps 3mm stainless laser cut. And TK, I'm glad you didn't think of them first.
