Used to post here from ACT. Sold the bikes and travelled around Aus for a couple of years and now back in SA ready to start the grind again [xx(]

Need a bike! If anyone hears of something worthwhile (racer or fighter) lemme know. But funds are tight so I cant spend more than $5k. Something like a gixxer 750 would do for starters (miss my old corona look alike) lol.

found a reasonable blade in bills. apparently has a big bore kit in it and seems in good state, needs a fork seal replaced, the brakes are soft(maybe just oil change and pads, but maybe new lines?) Also was revving pretty high, 3500rpm at idle, but seemed to climb through revs nicely, I was rushed though so didnt spend time on that. Could just be the idle screw was turned.

Wants $5990 for it. I made an offer so will see how it goes.

If I get it Ill be considering putting a better 2 up seat on it and getting some different rear pegs billeted up fr the missus, then get it a new front end. Would a monster seat go on a blade? or any other ones like that that you can think of, 1 piece seat but not too bulky?

there is a zxr of some description on Brighton road at Brighton, havent stopped to look at it, has the fairings, etc, orange in colour, he's got $3900 on it

Cheers Rev. I checked that out, maybe Im fussy but the bike looked well used and reasonably maintained but i just wasnt so keen on it.

Ended up spending more than i wanted to or should have

and got a 2000 model triumph rs 955. Totally not what I was expecting to buy but it appears to be it could be fun worthy, so ill see how she goes.

been waiting all week to get a ride on it to seal the deal, but they (bills in adelaide) wouldnt let me out in the rain. rode it today and think its worth a go. gave up a blade for it though 900ss at $1000 cheaper.

pick it up tomorrow ... yay!

Hi, in case the trumpy fell thru or if someone else is looking, I have a 96 gsxr750 for sale, has 2001 rear plastics, so she looks sleek not bulbous. Only a single seater atm, but happy to work with buyer to convert to pillion-worthy (or a standard 96 rear will bolt back on) Have done lots to make it unique, it certainly draws attention! Not rego'd yet $4500, but $1000's in brand new parts (tyres, discs, battery, screen, chain/sprockets) and looks choice bro (imho [8D])! pm me if any-ones interested...
