    a good project bike?

    hey guys,so i just got my l's and am riding an fzr250 but some time in the next 6 months i wanna buy a bigger bike for a project and streetfighter it, any good bike suggestions?

    i'm only 16 but my dad is a mechanic and fitter and my neighbour is a motorbike mechanic, so i got some decent help

    props on the sick site too, really go me interested in streetfighters!

    Welcome to the madness Bee! I agree with Miniman, make ur mistakes on the lil' fizzer before u start a more complex project!

    buy something crashed/half pulled apart already off ebay or somewhere around and use that as project bike, cos if ur like me and dont know a lot, just learning your way around building shit, it spends most of the time in pieces so you want a couple things to work on while having a bike thats always there to ride (the fizzer)

    i was thinking of doing some work to the 250 but i need it to get to work and back everyday, i need it to pass the inspection before my p's too.

    And if i was to buy another project bike i wouldn't be rushing it cause i wouldnt be able to ride it lol

    Sorry miniman, i realise ive still got that key on my key ring haha. Do you still need it, i've got the fuel tap too.
