Last year almost everyone went up Saturday, back Sunday.
My Mrs hadn't been riding long so we made a long weekend of it,
up Friday, went to the beach/lookout etc on Saturday, and met up
with the rest on Saturday afternoon and headed up to the pub for
a meal and beer's.
Macksville, Dubbo, Casino, 1770 if we can get the Friday off I
like to turn them into long weekends. No reason it has to be though.
Whatever suits you.
Might depend if anyone wants to do a group ride up again ?
So this the confirmed date? I will take the friday off if so. doing the ride in 2 days nearly killed me last year.

we would be more inclined to do the overnighter tho... or ride a few hours friday arvo to sunshine coast, stay the night then do the rest sat morning, home sunday.

I just got back from an overnighter in 1770, not a bad ride up there, but we took the boring way back to get to a meeting.

Looks like i'm in without the missus, I'll head up friday chill out saturday and head back sunday. May be on the bandit this year if the fighter isn't fixed by then.

Planning on heading up to Gladstone from Toowoomba on Friday to visit a mate, then down to Agnes on Saturday and home on Sunday. Mrs will prob tag along on her bike as well if she can get some more practice under her belt in time.

For everyone that is leaving on Saturday from the Gold Coast / Brisbane, has anyone sorted out meeting points / departure times.
I though that if I mentioned this now with a week out it will give us time to get this thread up to 10-15 pages like the VIC boys !
Our plans are to head up friday, then up to gladstone saturday to see some family and back saturday lunch to Agnes waters. Looking forward to the weekend

For us it's Toowoomba to Gladstone Friday and maybe join the Glady boys on Saturday for the ride down. Looking forward to finally meeting a few other members. Looks like it's gonna be a warm one!
