    Fuel Injection on GSXR1100WS

Im considering fuel injecting "Mongrel" and have recently found someone who has a set of throttle bodies for a busa. Can some of our resident experts of fuel injection conversion please step forward and let me know if these throttle bodies will work with my GSXR. If not, could you recommend another models throttle body that would be more preferential.

i am going to use K2 GSXR throttle bodies on mine jarrod and thats cos they are just about the right spacing to suit my bandit .....i am not sure if gsxr's are the same but they would have to be close mate ........Deano where are ya

99-07 busa and 98-i think 05 gsxr are the same 80mm centres
busa changed in 08 to an uneven spacing and the gsxr was ~06 for the same uneven spacing
GSXR tb's are 48mm od at the head spigot (srads are about 2mm smaller) and busa tb's are something like 53 or so, (bit hard to double check on the bike )

k1/k2 1000 tbs are the exact outer dia to slide into the rubbers and only require approx a 12mm increase in spacing between the cetre 2 cylinders to allow for the cam chain.

i have trial fitted a set to a W/cooled motor.

the job can be quite a challange to do neatly. it will depend on what ecu you want to use. if you use a cheaper one that doesn't require a cam sensor (non sequential injection) then that will make the job a shit load easier. keep in mind you will need

fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, coolant temp sensor, air intake temp sensor, throttle position sensor (on throttle bodies) and map sensor

i have put my pump and filter in the tank. this was a huge job. i am finishing mark2 tonight so i will get some pics and update my turbo build thread to give you a bit of an idea.

and then if you are going to use the ignition side of things then you may need a ignition module to drive the coils.
