Yeah never really happy with the original seat, think this should look better. The tail is fibreglass and the insert is plastic. The fibreglass was originally built in layers so I cut in 1 layer the same thickness as the insert and used a epoxy glue to bond them, a bit of body filler over the top and it should come up good.quote:Originally posted by rod185651

What's the thoughts on leaving the heat shields off?

for looks more than anything ....i realy dont see how they would make that much difference heat wise

Decided to go with the heat shields, think it doesn't look too bad.
