    '87 headlights into '90 upper?

    would anyone be so kind as to enlighten me if an '87 light assembly will fit on an '89 light bracket, into a '90 upper cowl and onto an '88 frame ? , i know how odd that sounds, im just trying to make do with parts that are available , i just cant afford the coin to try it all out.

    i know it sounds a bit scary, i have an '88 gsxr 750 ( appologies i for got that bit)and a '90 upper cowl, i found an '87 light setup and an '89 light bracket, just wondering if any one knows if it will all fit together.

    The light assembly itself is the only part I'm not sure about but I'm pretty sure all ther other parts are slingshot model and they all interchange. Do you have the parts already?

    im hoping to get the 87 light assy and the 89 bracket by the end of the week, it looks like the 89 bracket will have no probs but the light assy looks to be slightly different. i will get it all anyway and just mod as needed. i will post back once i get it all sorted either way , may save someone else some coin it will be naked one day, just need a good image in my head before i start [

    90 cowl on a 89 bracket will fit on the 88 frame ok but you'll need the lights off Pappas as the 87 light don't go.

    thanks OZ , looks like i will have to go that way, i really want to get the 90 upper on it just to have a looksee , at the same time im keen to rip the lot off ;p
