My GSX1400

This is my reasonably new GSX1400. I finally got around to taking some pics when I was out today.

It's big and ugly, just like me. You are what you ride! I love riding the torque wave from 3000 rpm upwards though, it's got enough grunt for an old fella like me, and plenty of legroom for my 6'6" frame.

That's Tidbinbilla deep space tracking station, just south of Canberra.

Scorpion pipe
Braided lines
Oil cooler cover
little screen
engine bars
Steering damper
heated grips
ventura rack & bag (I'm riding it to work most days)

None of which are for asthetics of course, it's all practical. I'd love to piss off the rear guard and get a rear wheel hugger, but I have to keep the ugly rack and bag for commuting to work anyway.

It'll have to do me for now, though down the track I could see a big bore kit on the cards...

ha ha. Yeah the mirrors are shite. The adjustment mechanism is garbage and they move all the time. Might go for the bar end jobbies a bit later.
