Do you like the heat or not?
QUEENSLAND
January = stinking hot
February = not so stinking hot..................some days
March = just hot
April = starting to become temperate/mild
May/June/July/August/September = nice and pleasant
October = getting hot again
CANBERRA
January = stinking hot (up to 40 degrees C)
February = stinking hot most days
March = Hot to very nice
April = very nice
May = definitely more than a chill in the air at night
June = holy snapping assholes! where'd all that ice come from?
July/August = Cold, damned cold,............and then some more cold (down to -9 C, but every day is sunny)
September = not so damned cold............................some days
October = not so damned cold
November = warming up during day
December = warm-to-hot days and nights.
NEW SOUTH WALES
Somewhere in between Canberra and Queensland.
VICTORIA
January/February/March/April/June/Julyetc etc etc = 4 seasons every day, but generally more pleasant than London.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
What's a season?
NORTHERN TERRITORY
2 seasons only, Wet and Dry.
Oh and the crocodiles up there just love tourists, mmm yum.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Nah too far south to worry about
Actually South Australia has a very large German population, probably explains why they make some of our best wines. Generally a dry and temperate-to-hot climate.
Canberra is about 1400 kilometers south of the Queensland border, and up in the mountains, so the wheather pattern is somewhat different. Melbourne (capital of Victoria) is about 700 kilometers south of Canberra. Oh and Sydney (capital of New South Wales) is about 300 kilometers north of Canberra.
Australia's population is mainly concentrated on the East coast, within about 200 kiolometers of the coast line, so you can start at the top and travel down, or the other way.
There are some bits that are outside this region, such as The Rock, which is in the middle of a desert, in the middle of the country, and a thousand kilometers from anywhere.

wow!! Do you work in a travel agency???
Hot is ok... but the humidity is hard for me.... I need 2-3 weeks to Accustom
I think may or june will be best for me...
And now i will save each month a little bit money for next year..
Tonight i will look for the flight prices to down under... you have an idea what is the cheapest airline?? Whats about Quantas?
-
Humidity isn't a problem at all in Canberra, it's as dry as.
Same with South Australia I believe.
It can get humid in Melbourne(Victoria), but it's not as hot as Queensland or Canberra, so it's quite tolerable. The south coast of Victoria is magic in summer, and I hate the humidity as well.
Your'e best route might be to start in either South Australia or Melbourne, and make your way north over a week or two. That way you will acclimatise quickly and easily. And Queensland in summer is what you really want to see if you come this far. Mid year can get pretty cold in many parts of Australia, it was -13 about 300 kilometers north of here over the weekend.
I don't work fo a travel agency, but in the 20 years I have been in Australia I have ridden through most of the East Coast. And that is definitely the best way to see it
-
If you come through this way I can put you up for a few days, plus I might be able to organise an extra bike to play on How do you feel about 80's big bore Japanese?
-

-
Probably Z or GSX.
After looking at some of those party pics of yours Germany's looking pretty good.
Plus one of my Grandmother's is German. Name of Michalick I think.
-
You don't want Dunk Island mate, that's way out no-where.
Look for Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane or Perth, in that order.
I just checked with these guys http://www.wefly.co.uk/
and they have a flight Berlin - Melbourne (12 May to 24 June 2006) for 1900 English Pounds, which is still ridiculously expensive.
BUT if you fly from London the price drops to under 700 English Pounds. How far are you from london mate?
-
Michalik is a rare name but i heared sometimes before..
London i can fly by a cheap airlane for 50-100 Euros thats would be no problem... But it takes longer because london is on right side and i must fly left
1900pounds is for 2 or 1 person?
