Time to get a bit dirty today. Got the tyres removed off the wheels to try to clean them up a bit and make them look a bit more purdey and stuff
Got all the important stuff. Paint stripper, variety of wet/dry paper, Autosol polish and a few rags to use. Beer and music to help you through a mundane task.
Degreased and cleaned the wheels to start off
Masked off all the necessary areas
After paint stripper has been applied
Couple of hours of sanding and polishing with Autosol
they come up a treat frenchy are you gunna paint the centres

Ya never know travis. He got the bike to this point in like a day! Shouldnt take him too long to put it back I rekon!

Started degreasing the engine today. Still a bit more to go though. The dirt and grease really gets stuck in there
Blasted the frame and swinger this morning as well in the little glass bead blaster at work. Also got the bearing removed from the swinger now
You got me all motivated to do my rear wheel (to match my gixxer front wheel that i polished before i put on the front end)
some masking, stripping, sanding, polishing, masking and painting later...
Got the rims done. All they need now is to get balanced so i can start putting the bike together. Polish the outside and repainted the centres matt black
Engine has been painted
Radiator as it was
Masked up and prepped
Finished. All it needs now is a grill to go over it
Frame and lower clamp re-assembled after powder coating
