    810

Larger front discs, new accel coils,[thanks alfie]throttle position sensor repaired, further seat mods, general cleanup, after an Exon Valdez sized oil leak from the top end/cam cover.......
It's still leaking from the cam-chain tunnel area, at the headgasket....bastard[}]
Just putting something in the NT section, so it's not so damned quiet in here!![8D]

Smaller rear-view mirrors, still can't see anything but elbows, but they seem to reduce the wind turbulence a bit.

They're such a great looking bike with the wider wheels on them. Your cousin, uncle, nephew ..... (I forget, even he forgot!) was at Story Bridge Show at the weekend and he said that you were enjoying the Geep at the moment. Good stuff mate.

Hey Benz, nice ride mate, the wider rims really make it look tough. How long you been in the NT for? I used to ride a GSXR1100 up there from 2001 to 2004. I used to live at Bayview and a few of us would ride out to the Litchfield National Park nearly every weekend during the dry season.

Si, it was my bro-in-law Stu you ran into at the Story Bridge Show. He's the owner of an '07 ZX10,with custom exhaust and power commander,[heaps of other mods I can't remember....]and has had a Green machine just about all of his life. Slightly biased, slightly crazy [^]. Riding sidecars will do that. He's on his way up here in a week or two,[for my eldest son's 21st] so I'll have a comparo between zx10, and the 810, after he's boiled the oil in the Geep!

Rod , I've been up here more or less since '76. We've probably nodded to each other on the road a coupla times. Bayview Haven[baygon heaven!]is a millionaire's hangout these days, you wouldn't believe it.

Large, no figures, but I'm guessing around 140horses ATM,where the standard injectors max out, as I get lean-out at around 3/4 throttle.[16psi]
The next round of mods will be the injectors,[ VLturbo injectors fit straight up, they say], and another CPU. With 810 stage 2 turbo, and 310cc injectors, they put out around 170HP.
It's way faster than I am as it is!
Thanks for the kind words guys.[8D]

After much fucking around, I've finally got to a stage where I'm happy to show you guys the "new tank" for the 810.
It's come a long way from the orange-peel green monster that it started as, a coupla months ago. There's still another coat of clear to go [possibly,], but this will do until I clean out the internals, and line it with tank sealer, so that I won't have to go through this again, some time in the future.[^]

Thanks Rod, it sure is quiet in this section, but a few of my mad mates have bought bikes lately, so with a bit of luck there might be a bit more activity, a few more blokes to ride with wouldn't hurt either

Here's a shot just before a bit of a blast around town. Strangely enough, the Zed1000 got most of the looks!
