Here is a collection of nice ZXRs

Some have a good explanation of the ZX9 swap:

ok, today's 20 minute effort ( out in the blistering cold, between bursts of intermittent rain )

    - Remove the top yolk on the bars -

    here's to start..

    self explanatory, really...

size 6 allen key.. to release the top of the yolk..

same sized screw ( 6mm hex ) under the yolk to hold it on the uprights.. 1 on each side..

with a bit of gentle persuasion from underneath - I've managed to break the monkey like grip from the clamp..

    the head of the beast...

got to get to that C nut that's underneath - have considered using a flat bladed screw driver and a hammer... but rather than molesting it and mashing it - I might just try and get a tool to take it off..

Ok, I've got it all apart - frame is barren..

    it's in 2 pieces..

It's gonna be too hard to keep this clean if it's polished - can anyone recommend a good painter than can strip it and make it look purdy for me ?

I love what you are doing there matey boy, and with the photos it all makes perfect sense. If the rest of the build is documented as well this is going to be a superb thread. []

Keep it going Fella, happy days!

Do something about reducing the size of that fuckin orible chopper picture though mate, its fucking up the screen. Oh and you might get a rear fender something like that from a place that makes small domestic trailers, Bwaaaaarrrr sorry mate a little bit of sick just came up [xx(]

If you're going to outsource the job, may as well get it powdercoated - just make sure you tape up the bits you don't want coated (inside headstem, etc)

And if you're going to do that, then make sure the dumb bastards don't go pulling all you pretty tape out. It's a cunt to scrape out.
