lookin good mate
if you look close you can see the 12mm alloy back plates, drilled out the clipon bolt holes to fit the riser bolts about 13.5mm and milled the back of the clamp flat for the backplates to sit nice and true, at the time of picture the bike was running,
That thing looks tiny under you Arron.
bit of an update on arrons r1 bars and top clamp fitted up for the last time , he bought a extended clutch cable and we rerouted everything else , hidden some wiring , fitted some braided brake lines that were made by hel wrong for my hyo but fitted perfect on his , took the pipe off it he is goin to make some thing loud i suspect , then he took it for a little squirt came back white as a ghost and shaking , that 'il learn him
Going from clip on bars always does that - its a fucking awesome feeling, turns me into such a tool.
That r1 is going to be a weapon mate - i reckon they make great fighters - and you dont have to go looking for the obligatory R1 tail piece to stick on your bike - it came with one You've just got to jack that arse up a bit.
Nah fuck it, smack a gixxer tail on it just to be different! Still jack it up tho!
he was talking of cutting the back of it as its twisted after the stack and putting on a gixxer o3 tail or something .
Gix '07 tail would look wicked!
finished and ridable today , thought it turned out pretty good
Would you like me to design some radiator shrouds for it? I'm going to glass-up some for my own in a few weeks.
Actually, that could be difficult cause I need a donor bike to measure and mark. Unless someone in Sydney has the same model etc.
looks good, few questions where did you end up getting you raiser's for your bars from... not really to sure where the good places to source all these parts from are..
cheers mate

Fuckin hell its Lee Kernigan on a streetfighter!
hey lowlife arrons used the risers that he got with the pro taper bars and just machined up some thick alloy plates to mount them through on the standard clamp
went for a burn today seemed to be just fine though he's not sure about the no wind protection thing , he'll got over it
Just tell him to get nude!!
