    1982 Katana

    Hi guys, selling my Kat - not enjoying it as much as I should, and want to free up time/money/headspace for the next project...

    Running Gear:
    Braced 750 Frame,
    Narrowed TL1000R swingarm
    Ohlins rear shocks
    Stock forks with Ractech springs and a set of cartridge emulators, Tarozzi fork brace (recently treated to new seals and sliders).
    18" wire wheels (3" and 4.5" wide), Outex tubeless conversion.
    18" front mudguard from Unicorn Japan
    Slabby GSXR1100 gauges
    Battery and electrics tucked in with custom battery carrier/electrics tray
    Pazzo Levers, GSXR radial master cylinder on the front, with 300mm discs and SV650 calipers (actually stops now - note, the brakes hadn't been fitted at the time of a lot of the photos)

    Engine:
    GSX1100 motor
    JE 1170kit
    ported head with big valves, heavy duty springs etc.
    big cams
    heavy duty cam chain.
    RS36 flatslide mikunis fed by a Pingel tap, Mikuni ram tubes and ramflo filters
    Carbon Yoshimura heatshield for carbs
    crank has been trued by Joe Marshall
    GSXR shifter spring.
    welded second gear, have replaced about half the gears in the box
    modified oil pickup to eliminate pulling air under acceleration or low oil levels
    oil cooler, fitted with an GSX 1100 EFE oil filter cover to ensure full flow
    modified cases to improve breathing
    Megacycle 4into1 exhaust with early 80's Yoshimura can
    Alternator and starter clutch converted to 2006 onwards GSXR600/750 - less rotating mass, stronger starter clutch, with a shindigen series reg rec, cover modified for more clearance
    Modified ignition bobweights to retard ignition for easier starting
    Dyna Coils
    Dyna Rev limiter.

    Billet conversion mount (bottom mount under engine)
    Custom CNC'd rearsets with Brembo master.
    Custom CNC'd sprocket cover.

    It's got maybe 5000km since the engine rebuild, handling is well sorted, makes a great noise and is pretty quick. Weighs about 205kg with a half tank.
    Comes with some spares (stock brake calipers and discs, stock front guard and brace, stock swingarm and a parts motor)
