    Lightweight batteries.

Well it looks like my battery is on the way out.

So what’s out there in the small lightweight stuff now. Is it true that the lithium stuff is slow in the cold.

Really looking for something small so maybe I can fit the pcv in next to the battery.

By cold, they mean 2-3 degrees. The trick is to turn the headlight on for a minute before starting - the current + internal resistance of the battery causes it to come up in temp enough to behave as per normal.

    Well thats not too bad.

I have noticed my camera battery's don't last as long when its cold though, so was a little concerned.

With a bit of luck it being in the shed will keep it at a decent temp.

Been looking at a few different batteries. Not sure if I want to spend that much just to save a little bit of room.
