    Tyre pressure

Did a track day recently and the Dunlop tyre man told me 22 psi in the rear. This is the result at the end of the day. Is this expected, or was it too high or low?Click image for larger version.

That looks pretty normal really, edges balling up and no cold tearing. How did the bike feel when you where on track? Didn't slide or feel uneasy in corners?
Just make sure you inflate the tyre back up for road use LOL.

The last session it felt a bit squirmy, so backed off a bit. Did remember to reinflate before next road ride.

Kinda makes sense. If you had it running as low as 22psi on the rear then like a car tyre the work is transferred to the outside edges so they take the brunt and if you're leaning over, that's where you want it. Being softer there would make them wear more too. Check an under-inflated car tyre after a few weeks. and you'll see the wear on the edges (not with the balling up though as it's not moving sideways as well at lean).

Those road 3's are not built for track use though, so I'm not surprised it was a "little" squirmy in the last session.

We were running 32 rear 30 front, 22 might be ok at the drags
